Pak-Hungary Alumni Network

The Pak-Hungary Alumni Network (PHAN) seeks to organize the network of Stipendium Hungaricum's Hungarian scholarship alumni and students graduating in Hungary
on a self-paid basis into a group whose members are committed to providing meaningful community service:

• for cooperation between Hungary and Pakistan in several areas, e.g. education, culture, economy;
• to mentor future generations. Encourage and recruit new participants for the Hungarian higher education;
• in an effort to involve alumni graduated in Hungary in the planned programs, who, either now or in the future, can become decision-makers and opinion-leaders in
  the governmental, business scientific or cultural fields of Pakistan.

The purpose of PHAN is to serve and provide a networking platform for the alumni community, as well as the following:

• Opportunity to join and expand the professional network;
• Receive news and practical tips on career building and further training opportunities;
• Opportunity to establish direct contacts with members of the business community both in Pakistan and Hungary;
• A forum where they can connect with their former fellow students and the alma mater;
• Provide exclusive access to a monthly newsletter on cultural, education and training programs, as well as information on additional scholarships available;
• Provide opportunities to participate in programs organized by the Embassy and the Alumni Network;
• Develop closer co-operation through actively kept contact between the diplomatic mission and the members of the alumni network;
• Create a strong base for Pak-Hun bilateral relations through the political, economic and cultural actors of the future that can be widely exploited.
